Girls’ Bedroom Design

The design of this 14 m² girls’ bedroom was created for a three-year-old girl and her two infant twin sisters, with the main concept focused on combining a delicate aesthetic, functionality, and a thoughtfully planned transformation of the space for the future. The interior features a soft powdery and milky palette with warm wood accents, creating a cosy and peaceful atmosphere. The room harmoniously combines a sleeping area, a relaxation space, an active play zone, and spacious storage systems, allowing the interior to remain cohesive and visually light despite its many functions.

The central element is a multi-level composition with a sleeping area on the lower level and an upper zone that can be used as a separate bed or as a space for play and privacy. Stairs with built-in drawers, safety rails, soft panels, integrated lighting, and a sports and play module make the interior not only beautiful but also practical for the everyday needs of children of different ages. The children’s furniture functions as one unified system, while custom-made furniture allowed the available space to be used as efficiently as possible and created comfortable conditions for each child.

The distinctive feature of this project is that the room can transform as the children grow. While the twins are still small, the focus is on parents’ convenience, safety, and gentle everyday scenarios. In the future, the composition can be easily adapted by changing the function of the upper level, reorganising the storage areas, updating the sleeping arrangements, and adjusting the interior to the needs of three older girls. This makes the design of this children’s room not a temporary solution, but a thoughtful investment in a comfortable space for many years to come.
