Small children’s room for a girl

This small 15 m² children’s room for a girl was designed for a baby who is currently just six months old. That is why the interior was planned not only around her current needs, but also with the next stages of her development in mind. A delicate palette of pink, cream, and warm yellow accents creates a soft atmosphere for the first years of life, while the design avoids feeling overly “babyish” and can remain relevant for much longer.

The layout already includes features that will become useful as she grows. A full-size sleeping area, upper level, built-in stairs with drawers, desk, open shelving, and spacious storage sections will gradually become part of the child’s everyday life according to her age. For now, some of these areas can be used by the parents for storage and childcare, while later they can transform into spaces for play, creativity, reading, and early learning. This approach to children’s room design eliminates the need to completely redesign the interior just a few years later.

Planning a children’s room with the future in mind is especially important because a child’s needs change very quickly.
