Kids’ Playroom for a Hotel in Dubai
In this project, the hotel kids’ playroom is based on precise zoning and a logical distribution of functions. The space was designed for a hotel and restaurant complex in Kyiv, so it was important to make it engaging for children while keeping it visually harmonious with the overall concept of the venue. A calm palette, natural shades, and soft color accents help prevent the space from feeling overwhelming, even with a large number of play elements.
Several different scenarios are incorporated into one room. An interactive panel and children’s tables create a space for creative and educational activities, while a sports complex with rope elements encourages active play. A themed shop area supports imaginative role-play, and soft seating nearby provides a place to relax and switch to a calmer type of activity. Thanks to this thoughtful layout, the 29 m² space is used as efficiently as possible, with each zone serving its own purpose without interfering with the others.
For a hotel, a kids’ space is not simply an additional room but an important part of the overall guest experience. A well-designed hotel kids’ playroom makes family stays more comfortable, gives parents greater freedom, and enhances their impression of the venue. In this project, the design works simultaneously for children, parents, and the business itself: it creates an engaging environment, supports different types of leisure activities, and adds value to the entire hotel and restaurant complex.
