Design projects by FeliFam are always unique stories. We never repeat solutions because a children’s bedroom should reflect the child’s personality and the family’s values. For us, it’s more than just planning or furniture—it’s a space where a child’s own world and first memories are formed.
Today’s overview features a very interesting design of a boys’ bedroom in Piancogno, Italy. It’s a space for an active child who values movement, freedom, and, at the same time, comfort. Our goal was to combine dynamics with safety, creating an interior that will grow along with the little one.

Client Requests and Our Solutions
Dynamic Space for Active Play
Solution: In the 18 m² room, we left the central area open to provide enough space for active games. For convenience and creativity, we added a small modular sofa shaped like LEGO blocks. The sports corner with a Swedish wall and hanging gym elements supports the child’s physical activity.
The sports corner also ensures easy and safe access to the upper level—the stairs are integrated into the play area.
Bunk Structure with Space for Two Children
Solution: The bunk structure is designed with a comfortable bed and soft wall panels on the first level. The second level is slightly narrower and serves as both a sleeping area and a play and rest zone. Safety is carefully considered with custom-made furniture that integrates organically into the space.
Calm Color Palette with Accents
Solution: The project uses a warm oak tone as the base, with subtle blue and mustard-orange accents. Blue in the facades and vertical panels creates a calm atmosphere and unifies the composition.
Orange is applied in the horizontal insert of the upper level, handles, steps, and sports elements, adding energy and a clear contrast. The combination looks modern, balanced, and does not overload the interior.
Closed Modules, Open Shelves, and Study Zone
The project combines closed storage systems for toys and items with open shelves featuring delicate lighting for LEGO and decor. This approach maintains visual clarity and adds individuality.
The study area is placed by the window to maximize natural light and ergonomics. The desk includes drawers and open shelves for educational materials. The space is designed for daily comfort and cohesive aesthetics.
Result: Functional and Stylish Children’s Bedroom Design
The final project realized a design where every zone supports comfort, safety, and an active lifestyle. The space combines a play area, well-thought-out sleeping solutions, a sports block, and a full study zone. Using children’s bedroom layouts, we ensured each element fits harmoniously within the room.
Custom-made furniture allowed for efficient use of space, organized storage, and a safe second level, with the option to accommodate two children. The color palette balances energy and visual calm. The result is a holistic, ergonomic, and long-lasting interior—perfectly tailored for an active boy.
By applying thoughtful children’s bedroom layouts, the design achieves harmony between functionality, aesthetics, and the child’s needs, creating a room that grows with him.
